New and evolving threats combined with persistent resource challenges limit organizations’ abilities to defend against cyber intrusions, with 80% of security leaders believing it is likely their enterprise will experience a cyber attack this year. Despite this, many organizations are struggling to keep pace with the threat environment.

You wouldn't invest in security for your home and then leave the key to the front door under the welcome mat and the alarm code written on a post-it note next to the control panel. Yet this is effectively how some people treat their IT security. More than half of UK office workers say their employers have provided no cyber security awareness training leaving organizations vulnerable.

Research published by ISACA has shown that close to half (46%) of respondents to a global survey of IT professionals expect their organization to face a cyber attack in 2015 and 83% believe cyber attacks are one of the top three threats facing organizations today. Despite this, 86% say there is a global shortage of skilled cyber security professionals.
