It is election day in the UK tomorrow, and a chance to vote for who we want to represent us in Parliament, and ultimately who we want to lead our country into the future. A month ago we could probably have said with some degree certainty who the winner would be and by how much, but now that certainty is gone.

​I am not obsessed with President Trump by any means, but at the moment, he is highly visible and there are lots of lessons to be learned from the situations he is creating. Between winning the election and his inauguration, the news has been full of speculation about what sort of President he would be, and what his policies would be.

There has been a dramatic increase in political risk according to a new study carried out by Sword Active Risk, and this has largely been attributed to the outcome of the UK Brexit vote and the US Presidential election.
